Interim comms support for a commercial tech accelerator
Jan Bailey provided interim comms support for Worcestershire’s first commercial tech accelerator for a period of four weeks. The role involved a wide range of comms, including mailshots, PR, website updates, event attendance and liaison with third party agencies.
Practical support at ‘Ageing Well’ conference
Attendance at a two day event in Sheffield to help with ‘hands-on’ tasks, such as: delegate check-in and enquiries, providing tech support in seminar rooms and liaising with venue staff to ensure the smooth running of the conference.
Developing web content for a Worcestershire-based public/private sector partnership
Researching and writing search engine optimised content for a new website. It also involved liaising with web developers to ensure content was provided when required to meet project deadlines.
Researching and writing case studies
Developing case studies for a number of clients, from sectors as diverse as agriculture, the health service, education and IT. We have written on subjects ranging from 3D printing and cyber security to food technology, leadership, training and public services. We boast that we can write on any subject under the sun and love a new challenge!
Organising a health and well-being event
We organised a conference and exhibition for an invited audience of health and social care experts and attracted nearly 200 delegates to attend. Our role was to coordinate the invitation list and track responses as well as researching and inviting selected specialists to exhibit. On the day, we were in attendance to welcome guests and to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Our client said: “I felt very confident that the event would be a success and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. I would have no hesitation in employing Jan again to undertake a similar role.”
Our Ross-on-Wye based client commissioned us to edit and produce four newsletters each year. These contained 8-12 pages (A4) and included both provided content and that researched and written by us. Each edition of the newsletter was distributed to around 1,000 of our client’s customers.
